The employee can easily access the ESS portal using some crucial credentials, such as the unique user ID and password which would be provided by the employer.

The Assam Government employees can avail all the facilities of the ESS portal only after registering themselves for this portal. To do this employees need to visit Assam State Finance Department (Finassam.in) website and sign up in the portal.

- Visit the finassam.in and click on Employee login in the left corner.
- Click on the sign-up button and wait for the new page to load.
- Now enter your IFSC code and account number, which you would use for salary credit.
- Click on the Continue button.
- Enter your name.
- Next, add the username to your account. The user name should be unique else it would be invalid.
- Enter the new password and confirm the password.
- Enter your mobile number click on send OTP option.
- Enter the OTP you received on your number.
- Click on the register button and it has successfully registered you on the finassam.in
Assam Employee ESS payslip
Login to Assam Employee ESS portal allows employees to easily view the salary updates and also allows them to download employees’ payslips in PDF format.
Steps to download employee payslip using the ESS Portal
- Visit the website using the given URL https://finassam.in/assamfinance/welcome
- On the top left side of the page, click on Employee Login.
Note- If you are visiting the portal for the first time, create an account using the sign-up button.
- Login to the account by entering the correct username and password.
- Now, enter the captcha code and click on the login button.
- Verify your details and then click on the payslip option.
- Select the desired year for which you want to download the payslip.
- Select the Respective month for checking the salary slip.
- A download pop-up message will be displayed on the screen. Click on the download button to initiate the download process.
How to Change the username in Assam Employee ESS portal.
Employees after successful login to this automated HRMS portal by the Assam government are entitled to a unique username and if in case an employee forgets the username, he/she can visit their Gmail account and refer to the first mail received from the Finance Department Of Assam where the username would be mentioned.
